I admit that I haven't seen many -- in fact, hardly any -- of the movies nominated this year for an Oscar. (Ok, full disclosure: I just perused the list of nominees again and haven't seen a *single* nominated movie. I'm not sure what I've been doing this past year...um, I saw Doubt when it was on Broadway, does that count?) But that doesn't mean I'm not curious about who's going to win; after all, there's always Netflix! Though of course I did cancel my account a few years ago...

 Anyhoo, um, chances are that many of you out there are having Oscar parties and are looking foward to all the fancy gowns, red carpet moments and overly emotional speeches. Here are some Oscar-worthy cocktails to get you in the mood on Sunday night as the party begins.

Melonaire

1 1/4 part GREY GOOSE® Vodka
2 parts fresh lemonade
Honeydew melon squares

Fill a highball or double old-fashioned glass with crushed ice. Add Grey Goose Vodka and fill the rest of the cup with lemonade to a half inch below the rim. Add melon squares and toast to your wealth.

The Curious Crush

 1 1/2 parts GREY GOOSE® Le Citron Flavored Vodka
1 teaspoon sugar
2 parts fresh lemonade
1 lemon slice for garnish
5 raspberries, plus more for garnish

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, muddle the five raspberries and sugar. Pour into a highball glass with ice and add Grey Goose Le Citron Flavored Vodka and fresh lemonade. Garnish with fruit and enjoy gracefully.

 The Milk Man

1 1/2 parts GREY GOOSE® Original Vodka
1 part peppermint schnapps
1/2 part simple syrup
1/2 part cream
1 chocolate-dipped peppermint stick

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with peppermint stick and sip with pride.
