It's been a highly-guarded recipe for more than 60 years, but it looks like the colonel's secret might be cracked. Though the original fried chicken recipe is kept in a safe in Kentucky, professional recipe copycatter Ron Douglas thinks he's got KFC's "secret blend of 11 herbs and spices" figured out.

What's the magic combo?

• 1 teaspoon ground oregano
• 1 teaspoon chili powder
• 1 teaspoon ground sage
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 tablespoons paprika
• 1 teaspoon onion salt
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 2 tablespoons Accent
