Art That Looks Good Enough to Eat?

Here's another fun roundup from WomansDay.com -- 10 pieces of artwork made entirely from edible materials, including chocolate, cake, bread and jelly beans. There's a lotus leaf sculpture made from canned goods for the annual Canstruction charity event/design competition (I've seen some of these entries in person before and they're quite amazing), the portrait of Barack Obama made out of various cereals, and the landscape created from loaves of bread (mountains), hunks of cheese (boulders), stalks of broccoli (trees, of course) and pretzel rods (telephone poles).

wd0709-Toast-Mosaic_2500-pieces-of-toast.jpgThey're all pretty cool, but my favorites might be the "Toaster" mosiac crafted out of -- what else -- 3,053 slices of toast, and a portrait of rapper Eminem made out of more than 1,000 M&M candies, naturally. Clever, clever people.
