It's hot out today, and with Memorial Weekend here already, that means summer has unofficially arrived (yes, I know it's only May, but whatever). What better way to celebrate than with an ice cream party...for your entire neighborhood? I just stumbled across the Slow-Churned Neighborhood Salute contest held by Edy's; they're throwing 1500 ice cream parties this summer (that means enough ice cream to feed 100 people, along with all the spoons, napkins and wet-naps you'll need -- no cones though).

Not a bad prize at all. If you win, you'll certainly be the most popular kid on the block -- for this summer, anyway.
