Let the Magic Begin

magic_sheet.jpgHere's a cool product I discovered to help with your kitchen clean-up: Magic Sheets. Simply wet one sheet, wipe it over your dirtiest pots, pans and baking dishes, then fill with water and let the sheet soak in your pot or pan for about 15 minutes. Wipe again, and all your baked-on food, grease and crusty edges should come off easily without any scrubbing or overnight soaking. The sheets are non-toxic and biodegradable, so you don't need to worry about harming the environment or the people you're feeding (or yourself). Does it really work, you ask? Well, I tested it on a pot in which I had previously scalded some milk, which left behind a thin dried-on film that I would ordinarily soak overnight. The sheet worked its magic pretty easily, and the icky dried milk scum came off without a problem. Hmm, maybe I'll make a lasagna this weekend...or a nice crusty mac 'n cheese...

I have been using dryer sheets for years to soak dirty pots and pans, and baking dishes.

What a great product, I went to their website & they are biodegradable in 21 days!! Also all organic. I read somewhere that it takes over 5 years for 1 dryer sheet to biodegrade. I would not want to put something that goes in my laundry in my cookware. I ordered 3 boxes (I cook a lot) Thank you for the product info.
